EGGS COCKTAIL
EGG COOKING METHOD: HARD BOILED
INGREDIENTS
Hard boiled eggs (prepare extra eggs for mixing with the potato)
Potato (peeled and steamed)
Salad dressing or sandwich spread
Cherry tomatoes
Chicken Ham
- Ebiko
Salad leaves
Blueberries
Cucumber
Nori sheet
THE MAKING:
- Mash the cooked potato & egg together until the desired texture is obtained;
Add in salad dressing and mix well
BOW (on the head)
Take a slice of ham and cut into strips, set aside to be used later;
Like folding Chinese paper fan, fold the ham to become a zigzag stick. Take a ham strip and wrap around at the centre. A bow is almost ready;
Use a toothpick or spaghetti to pin at the centre of the bow;
SMILEY EGGS
Use a knife to gently "draw" a crescent shape on the surface of egg where the yolk locates. Carefully remove the crescent shape egg white and the yolk will expose;
EYES
Cut 2 circles out of nori sheet and stick onto the egg;
HAIR
Cut the desired hair style from nori sheet and stick onto the egg;
Pin the bow on the top of the smiley egg;
Scoop mashed potato into a wine glass or bowl, then arrange salad leaves, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoe, and blueberries. Gently put in the smiley egg and sprinkle some ebiko on those vegetable and fruits.
